FTC Halts Deceptive Practices of Marketer Who Collected $359 Million

Keep in mind, Jesse has been shut down before so I imagine he has some cash stashed in the back yard or something.

Remember the Microsoft thing happened after he made millions, targeting him from before, so that wasn't a wipe out for him financially. This is asking 390 mill + assets... and without even acknowledging that outrageous FTC move I think it goes without saying that he's got money elsewhere.

This guy got away essentially with a slap on the wrist. Considering the sheer enormity of the scams, he should have ended up behind bars.

FTC is only going to recover a fraction of the money he made by attaching his bank accounts. Rest is sitting in a foreign haven.

I couldn't help but laugh at them taking the escalade. Guess the lambo and whatever other cars somehow vanished!

Hell yea wu-yi I forgot about that shit. I wish there was more people like him in this industry pumping out products with a landing page worth promoting. BTW anyone have any of his old sites downloaded somewhere? Would be a good refresher.

Jesse Willms Sponsors More Than 130 Impoverished Children Through World Vision - YouTube

Other than his "multivariate testing method", why else was/is he the most notorious (important) Affiliate Marketer?

Was he the Biggest advertiser? Biggest merchant? Biggest Affiliate? All of it? Did he invent any product?

He is not even the guy who invented step-1 step-2, or was he?
People started making compliant pages only after FTC started going after him, so nobody (99% AMs from here?) was complaint..

I thought non of the rebillers made it easy to opt out..

Isn't he like just another rebill slinger?

Jesse Willms is an absolute piece of garbage. Latching himself on to various charities and causes to try and legitimize himself speaks volumes.

He's making a mockery of all the people involved in those charitable organizations who work hard everyday. Talk about taking a page out of Al Capone's playbook.

What a fucking douche, he should do some time for that kind of fraud.

But still, he needs to pay his shit back, the bankers did not.

Makes you think.

What? So he'd be worse by not donating to various charities?

I am not saying that he is not a bad guy and did bad things but the money he spent and gave to charities did not somehow make him more of a bad guy. Is it impossible for someone to run offers like that and genuinely want to give back to the community? Bad people can do good things without doing them for the wrong reasons.

Agreed.

As far as I'm concerned, even if it was for a bad reason, it was still a good thing.

You can't spin helping other people as a bad thing.
