Myspace Ads

At least you guys are getting approved ads...

Account One: Pending for 4+ days

Account Two: Pending for 2+ days

Not to mention the targeting options suck. What... nobody on MySpace is interested in anything tech related besides video games?
I had the same issue with a couple of mine, paused them this morning and resubmitted...all were approved within 3 hrs, however not at the same time. I would try that on monday and see if it helps you. Although you might make more $$ by leaving them pending....9 ads all 9 way in the hole. All ctr between .11 and .21 but epc are between .00 and .10 ughhh

I really hope Myspace would lower the minimum bid to 10 cents. Every campaign I start is breaking even.

At least you're breaking even.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a major overhaul of this system rolled out in the future. Better targeting, stats, flash support... They also need to make the bidding system more transparent so advertisers have better visibility into how their ads are placing and have some control over it.

spent $150 and lost around $27...and Using DL, stats are different..maybe same user in Myspace click ad twice or something..not huge difference..583 clicks from Myspace and my account shows 560..

Adjust age range and increase budget to $150 more, if it is not working, done with Myspace unless They lower Min click to $0.10 or $0.15

I'd be surprised if they don't lower the minimum bids to $.10, right now even with an explosion of advertisers & testing budgets, some of their biggest demographics are still at or near $.25 meaning few bids above that.

I'm getting enormous amounts of traffic at $.26 bids even in tougher demographics and relatively dismal CTRs (%.08~) so not sure where the bidding system is even kicking in.

It's so frustrating to see the low CTRs get tons of impressions, but I really doubt My$pace ever lowers the bid amounts. I've lost a couple hundred on one campaign, and made about 20 bucks on another. Changing the end date and campaign budget will definitely help you get tons of clicks.

They don't lower bid amounts, what you bid is what you get. I do like how fast their billing system is though although I wish they would process just one payment a day.

Would like to see account stats so you can get an idea of overall spend, performance historically, and for the day.

People, it's MySpace; get some ads running and make some money! Stats taken from the last 30~ hours. Spent 525 USD, the rest; net.

I don't see why anyone is crying about approval process. My ads were up and running within 3 hours.

1,424,389 -Impressions
1,675 - Clicks
Ad CTR - 0.118%
LP CRT - 89%
CPC - 0.30

Offer was a one field page submit, but be a little more creative when picking up an offer.

Although, depending on how you look at it, it's a stupid move on myspace's part to keep the minimum click price at .25, it's good for everyone with profitable campaigns as it keeps our clicks from costing us much MORE than 25c by getting rid of all the people who struggle to get an EPC higher than .25. I'd be in heaven if facebook would let any ad through with a minimum bid of .25, so i'm not really sure why everyone's complaining.

It's great that you've had a good experience, but the people who've had ads pending for 48+ hours aren't hallucinating.

The reason behind this is that THIS solution wasn't mean for smaller or medium affiliates by any means. It was meant for their typical larger advertisers, who normally shell out $2-$5 CPM.

Also the launch of their system was premature and leaked in this thread of all places. So they didn't really expect to have what in the last few days has become thousands of new advertisers with credit cards in hand ready to advertise on the network. They were bombarded and caught off-guard, which explains the hardcore delay in ad approvals.

Over the next few weeks their system will have better features in the targeting and placement areas. I have no idea what they are exactly nor would my friend at Myspace tell me.

But all of this came from her on an "off the record" phone convo about it. The cpc isn't going to go down either, since the rush has pretty much proved to them that people are willing to spend a lot more than just $0.25 per click to advertise on their whored out social network. So we all kinda shot ourselves in the foot with that one.

48+ hours and my ads are still fucking pending. Sent them an email via their feedback system, but seeing as how it's the weekend - doubt it will do any good. This is so frustrating, everyone around me is getting their ads approved within hours and I'm here waiting days.

The system has its wrinkles which will presumably be ironed out in due course, but the fact is there is a shit ton of money to be made there - I'm a relative noob to CPL/CPA stuff, and even I've managed to clear 1k/day today and yesterday purely from testing, finding one offer that worked and scaling it. Easiest money ever, used stock creatives and linked direct - give me this over FB every time!!

That said, I was pretty lucky my ads got approved very quickly ;)

i just am not getting any impressions, im slighty profitable when they were showing it, but now they wont show my ad.
