Hydra fired their Co-Founder/COO and Executive Vice President yesterday.
As a result of this unexpected action, the Sales Director and Affiliate Director quit.

Thoughts?

You guys are hilarious, especially the guy with the big font. Keep in mind this is a FORUM and most of you are children (seriously). Here is your 'proof,' friend:

Dear Hydra Staff:

As many of you are already aware, Jason Walker and Doug Walker are no longer working at Hydra.

As co-founders, their entrepreneurial abilities and efforts played a big role in getting us to where we are today. Their contribution is appreciated.

Tomorrow at 10am, Ed will lead an all-staff meeting to address your questions and share plans all of us will be working on together to continue to build on Hydra’s success.

We look forward to seeing all of you then,

Zac Brandenberg, CEO
Ed Roberto, Interim-President

Did it say 'founder' or 'co-founder'???? It said the LATTER, thus there is MORE than one founder. There was a board meeting, and a subsequent 'hostile takeover' that stripped the founder and EVP of their management responsibilities but not their ownership.

You kids really think you're so smart, but let me tell you running a one-person 'company' from your bedroom is not 'real world' business. Running a corporation IS.

Chill out. You can't expect to come in with one post, no proof, and expect people to believe you off immediately? Especially for something like this.

And btw, it's real world money, real world products. If I can do it in my boxers, what's to gain by doing it in khakis?

Hydra is a good company with some talented people, and is much too large for one - or even two, three or four - people's exodus to adversely affect.

The CEO (Zac) has a brilliant business mind, and he built an empire (no pun intended, CPA fans) with sound judgment; if it was his decision to move the company this direction, it is probably beneficial in the long-term.

I know Zac & some of the people that were let go - as well as those that left voluntary - and though it is a major loss, no one person is bigger than the company at Hydra. They are essentially a machine with replaceable parts, and will be able to find people to fulfill the roles that were vacated.

I can not imagine the internal chaos that must be occurring at the company as this was definitely a jolt to morale (in my opinion), but Hydra will succeed, will continue making money, and will continue to be a good resource for affiliates and advertisers alike.
