Pay Bump Retroactively on an Offer ?

I am running an offer that is doing rather well and i am getting
good traffic to it.
So i was wondering of it is possible to get a Pay Bump Retroactively
on the offer ? Has anyone had this happen ?

I just feel many affiliates are getting screwed over, and we have to
stand up and fight for our rights.
 


I've got a retroactive pay-bump before, but that was because I had already agreed to a [higher] payout with an AM over the phone. She couldn't get on the computer to make it effective immediately.

It's possible, but might be difficult in your case if you're just re-negotiating the rate based on the promise of high volume. Doesn't hurt to ask.
 
I guess if you threaten to run an offer on another network it might work, but it's bad form in my opinion.

I've had it done before, but it was the same situation as Mr. Websites.
 
I wouldn't go after a pay bump for retro sales, it's like you're holding a gun to the networks head. Be cool and get your bump for future sales. Don't be too greedy or you may end up in the tub with a little scrubby dub dub.
 
I've had a similar situation as Mr. Websites and joshmv. It was retroactive because my AM was out of the office (I think I requested it on a Friday afternoon) but he made it retroactive since the beginning of my campaign.

You'll sound a bit like a douche if you specifically ask for a retroactive bump.
 
they hooked me up with one at copeac, but it was because my AM agreed to it and didnt get to it in time for the weekend.
 
Probably not going to happen. If you do volume with a network, ask for a bump before you start running any traffic through, you'll usually get it.

It really depends on the network and the relationship that you've developed with both the network and your AM. Something tells me, though, that you've yet to develop a good relationship with any network otherwise you wouldn't be spewing the "fight for our rights" line.
 
Like many others said, unless leads are sent between the time your AM agrees to the bump and the time you actually receive it, don't expect to be "retroactively" compensated for anything.
 
Just ask your AM - if you have a good relationship, its not entirely out of the question. But unlikely, yes.
 
Retro's after the fact...

Retro's might be possible in this situation, but will depend on the relationship with your AM and/or Network Policy and of course, how much quality traffic was actually sent. It's best to set this up with your AM before you run any traffic, so it can be pre-approved and conditions for the retro are agreed upon.
