Hi Everyone,

Im new to the forum (been lurking a while) and arbi. I made my first page and have an ad running on 7search. It's only been up since last night but I have 3 clicks on 7search totaling $3.18 and 1 click on adsense totaling $0.41. I think i bid too high on some terms as my CPC on 7search was $1.59 a couple times. I had it at like $.10 but I wasnt getting any clicks. Any input you could offer would be greatly appreciated :)

WAYY too much. even with a great CTR, it might be risky to do $.20(assuming your average is $.41 for that niche) you may need to test out what the actual average pay out per click for that niche is, but i would think 1/5 maybe even 1/4 of the clicks cost is what you should be bidding. some people like to play more risky, while other more conservative, but NEVER go greater than 1/2...because what income would you be making then?

it's worth it to try everything=) arbitrage requires money and time, but in the end it should return more money. it just may take a while for the money to get to you. Overall, people in this forum have had success with arbitrage(most of us do 2nd/3rd tier search engine arbitrage)

Is it worth it to make a arbi site ? :rainfro:

No, nobody makes money in arbi. We just do it for nothing. :banana_sml:

Junio is right, you really shouldn't be paying more than 20 cents, and it's ideal to pay even less than that on 7search. Like under 5 cents.

Wow thanks for all the responses! Ok I am going to lower my bid. If im not getting any clicks with a low though does that mean I've picked a bad niche?

well "bad" niche in the sense that it is way too saturated, yes. there are some other niches you may want to try out instead. you can keep your ads up in case you ever get clicks, but try out other niches

that is a an ugly ass template - work on that lower your bids - PM chrislingle and you should be good to go

I don't know how this template became popular, but I can't imagine it working better than mine.

This raises a natural question: how does one know what keywords/ads are going to generate BEFORE you begin a campaign?

is there a good place to get a free arbi site template?

yes it takes about 2 minutes to throw it together with html and css and another 3 minutes to have a config file running using php and mysql. just make your own in notime.

not hard

Waht would the config file/mysql be for?

Well, I certainly was spending too much lol. So far im at 7 clicks/$4.92 but I spent around $10 :( I adjusted all my bids though so that shouldnt happen tomorrow. One question I have is do you buy traffic from multiple sources like 7search, searchfeed, etc, or just stick to 1?
