Pulse 360 - Inventory (Yahoo Related)

also it didn't help that they sent out emails that cc'd everyone who had done any advertising with them.

I spent close to 7k with them and made a fraction back. I was told to keep spending to build "click factor" while my roi kept staying negative but was told to spend more money. I had one day that broke even so I had faith but I think that was because I told them if it didn't work that day I was done well guess what I was told to deposit more money since we broke even that day and then the next couple days all negative. Good luck getting people in here to sign up and try as everyone I've talked to has made 0 money with you guys and just wasted their money.

yeah same here.... kept telling me i needed to build "click factor" when my fucking ctr was not good enough to possibly have a good click factor but he kept telling me to run it and keep building it but thats fucking bullshit cause it wouldnt have gone up... if your reps are gonna take control and act like they know wtf is going on than they need to actually know

nobody told me anything about 'click factor' but that's the exact same experience i had. the system is flawed and it's making us very hard to continue spending money with them.

I haven't tried Pulse360 personally, but I keep seeing the same ads every day on Weather.com, no matter what city I'm in, so their traffic has to be working for somebody (actually, 2 advertisers) to keep running traffic...

You just know Joe is thinking "What the FUCK was I thinking posting here?"

we normally don't see much clickfraud because we only work with premier sites.

Click fraud has nothing to do with the sites you work with. It has to do with whether or not your platform can tell a legitimate click from a fraudulent one and not bill people for the fraud.

You can say what you want but 30-40% of the clicks that you bill for never happen.

I'm sure you notice that I'm not the only one mentioning this. A lot of us here track hardcore with redundant platforms and fraud traffic is very easy to see.

qft

You also currently have a serious problem with click fraud and allowing the copy/paste crowd that can't market to dominate your listings. Why would I want to run $20k a day when you'll allow ANYONE to steal my campaign verbatim and compete against me with it?

We also tested it and saw a ton of click fraud...202 doesnt lie. Got a call in to them and waiting for a response...

agree. the best thing to do there is to turn off their general network traffic since pulse prodivdes advertising feeds for publishers that are shady to say the least.

also I got reimbursed for a large amount of proven fraud clicks there but i cant really monitor each and every click on a daily basis just to have 50% of my spend reimbursed. I've tried pulse a few times and don't really see myself making money with them. Even their reps are admitting that 95% of the traffic goes to about 8 guys, which apparently were smart enough to jump on the train soon enough and are banking since then. too bad it's difficult for new advertisers to get on it.

55% of my clicks the other day were fraud clicks I believe. This was the response I got:

"Whether with conversions or impressions, however, there are some
partners that notoriously do not show up on any sort of
tracker/registering of impressions. If you let me know your screename
or account number, I'll block down some of these partners so that the
ones that do well with showing up will be the only ones sending visits
to your accounts."

She either thinks I'm stupid or just didn't get what I was telling her despite telling it to her twice.

I'm glad I actually read the rest of the thread before replying to this because I wanted to make this exact same point.

Joe, if you are, as many people here have mentioned, one of the best people at Pulse360 and you don't recognise that having sites like MSNBC on your network doesn't automatically exclude you from click fraud, then I'm not going to go near Pulse360.

Prosper202 makes mistakes sometimes, I normally see about 10% of my clicks and leads have no subid and weren't registered by P202 and I chalk that up to technology not working properly.

But that comment right there just SCREAMS "We have no idea what we're doing when it comes to click fraud."

i spent a little over a hundred dollars on them. I know it's extremely little, but i got a horrible CTR and nothing seemed to convert on that network, that would convert on adwords or facebook...

It's not the click fraud with pulse but the fucked up system of breaking into the top 5 spots for new campaigns. You need to develop a better auction system.

Joe seems like a way chill dude, but seriously is anybody having success with pulse360?

I have a campaign that's doing great numbers on other networks.. took the exact same campaign to pulse and just pissed away all the money the other day. haha.

Traffic was shitty to say the least.

i know of one person on this forum who's had success with them. they don't know who i am however. learn to not use references to your forum handle in your URLs. i almost suspect they may be the one running a clickbot since their landing page was not too unlike mine, yet they managed to stay on the page for quite a while if they're not still there. either that or their margin is like 2% in which case they're just retarded to run that shit instead of focusing their attention on more profitable endeavors.
