At least you've found the newbie forum. That's a good start.
I've no idea why you weren't banned for the first two posts in the affiliates forum.

Start by getting a webhost account, choose a generic domain (you can change it later), and install wordpress. Come back when you have that done.

To accomplish what you want to do you have to know what exactly it is you want to do.

PPC/SEO/Media Buys?

What I want to do??

Build SEO, an affiliate Hotel Booking site.

Build SEO, An info only site, the place that I love. in future adding Forum.

Most importantly I just want to lean how to run a site on my own, then on top of that, if I could creat an income it would be wicked,,,,,,,,wicked-fire :)

Cooool?

If you paid attention to what I wrote at 11am, you could have had your site installed by now. Do it this afternoon, or resign to live in poverty for the rest of your life.

After you've installed wordpress, google 'holiday affiliate scheme' (and variations). Choose one company/scheme you like. Contact them. Tell them that you're developing a holiday informational site, and you want to use it to send them (warm) leads. Have a discussion about what types of holidays, demographic, and destinations they are most interested in receiving leads for. Ask what their most popular holidays are, and which types/destinations are trending. Use this info to start writing your site. Your 'service' is to provide information about these types of holidays/destination to people who are researching them - you're making their research easier. You are also telling them exactly where they can book it.

The travel agent will help you to get the affiliate tracking and booking-widget set-up, assuming you're not a total idiot. They'll probably also keep an eye on how you're doing with the site development, and give you direction if you're doing something they don't like.

That's it. All further questions should be specific technical questions regarding your journey to that stage.

You can start in this thread. Plenty of good info.

A million times over...
1. Register a domain.
2. Buy some hosting somewhere.
3. Install wordpress

If you can't do that or don't want to do know because its too hard, then just give up. Seriously, just give up and spare us the stupidity and the laziness and we'll spare you the abuse okay?

Yow Chianti,
Great news I did download and upload Joomla to my host.
I have been building content.
I would really like to be able to Communicate with Chianti,

Chianti, please mail me.

Thanks

Well done.

> joomla

There was a reason people kept mentioning Wordpress: the plugins.

Plus there are a lot of Wordpress experts here, and not too many people using Joomla. However, you may as well try it and see how you get on. Since you're making one authority site instead of lots of thin sites, maybe joomla will suit what you're doing. I've not used it myself for years though.

You'll get much better feedback if you start a thread for any specific problem you have. You'll get faster responses and a variety of different opinions, approaches and experiences.

No-one is going to personally mentor you. Some folk might spend some time with you talking over dead ends you've reached, but only after you've asked sensible questions in the forum and have been seen trying to help yourself as much as possible.

Good luck.

Dude, unfortunately I'm not lactating at the moment.

If your next question is 'what do I do now?' then you're not going to get much help. Start a new thread with a specific question, saying what you're trying to do, what the problem is and what you've done so far to try to resolve it. You'll get a ton of help.

I did send you a long-ass PM though, against my better judgement.
