what would you pick?

the 1 year old domain is loosely tied with the theme..

e.g. 1 year old domain is puttingtechniques.com where as the exact match domain+suffix is golfcoachingfix.net

You want to rank for golf coaching.. Which domain would you pick. Branding isn't important, it's all for lead capture and pushing affiliate promotions on a very minimalistic site with lots of affiliate offers.

1 year aint much and it doesn't carry any weight if its already been dropped.

emd surely

the 1yd is under my posession for the whole time but it wasnt arrached to any host..

Despite the title of your thread, neither of these are either an exact match domain, or a 1 year old domain.

Exact match = exact match, not exact match + suffix

1 year old, to get any benefit, has to have been crawled and indexed, otherwise it is the same as a new domain.

Are you sure about that? Even if the domain was registered the whole time? Is there a way to check if there was any lapse over the last few years?

thanks for the info, I'll use the exact match+suffix, and get developing on the 1yd for future use.. Getting my writer to writer 5 different articles to put up.
