1) What does it mean if a site ranks TWICE on the first page ffor the same keyword? Like this:

"keyword" = whatever
1.
2.
3.
4. www.site.com/abc/
5. www.site.com/
6.
7.

2) What does it mean if Google puts "+" sign with text "Show more results from site.com" thing next to a listing?

3) What does it mean if Google puts little links to different parts of the website under the listing? Like if it's McDonalds.com links would be like "nutrition" "store locator" "promotions", all linking to correponding parts of the site.

Thanks!

What the fuck are you talking about? It means both pages have a power of ranking which can rank them in top 10.

No need to be rude, please. I presume you're talking about my first question. From my experience, it's unusual for Google to put two listings from the same domain on first page results for the same keyword.

Thank you for your answers, erect.

1) Nice example. But I'd like to know what is the significance of that.

2) Not clear on your answer. I'd like to search for more information on this but from your answer it's not clear to me what to search for.

3) What if one day a site has a sitemap and the next it doesn't - does it mean it lost its "authority" status?

P.S. I don't mind you moving the thread to Newb Questions. But I still don't appreciate rudeness when it's really uncalled for.

Not at all, happens all the time. Can happen w/forums that have multiple threads relevant to query, emds with a subpage/nested keyword page ranking and the index also ranking, happens with wikis, etc.

2. I really don't think anyone's going to be arsed answering as it's so obvious.

3. Is a called site links, is generally a sign of site authority and depending on the type can be manipulated in web master tools.

Thank you for #3. You weren't very helpful on #2 though.

it's just google determining a site might have more relevant pages for the given search term so they're giving the searcher the opportunity to run the search against that single domain.

Is that necessarily indicative of G seeing that site with a high level of authority or trust or whatever?

1. Two different pages of the same website are ranking for this particular keyword
2. This appears for the queries where user seems to be more interested in particular domain result
3. These are sitelinks... Some internal link from the website. These usually appear when Google thinks these results might be important for the user. This is completely automated and webmasters have very little control over this.
