I am helping a friend test some landing pages for his site. Most of his traffic comes from Adwords.

Is it best to duplicate the campaigns in Adwords and send traffic to the new landing page that way, or is it best to use software to split the traffic at the page level.

I am not well versed in Adwords, and I feel like the answer may be dependent on Adwords rules and such.

Thanks WF! :music06:

Honestly just go at the page level. It's easier to manage and stuff. Make sure on your confirmation page/success email you note which page it came from.

It's easier to manage and review historical statistics if you run tests at the page level.

Try Google's Content Experiments or use one of the quality split testing products on the market. I use VisualWebsiteOptimizer on a daily basis.
