I don't remember when I found this but it was a few months back on Webmaster World. It was in a text file i had created... It's a nice read, hope some of you find it helpful.

Mostly good but some bad. Is it really a few months old? Parts of it feels up to 5 years old, like below
D) Page Size:
Agree -> The smaller the better
Eeeh? -> Remember, 80% of your surfers will be at 56k or even less.

J) Submit
Do NOT submit.

Y) Submission check at six months
Bad.

Yeah this thing is probably fairly old. At least 2 years I would say. But I think most people are still at 56k though.

Are you trying to get Jon sued? It took me about 20 seconds to find the link:

http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum3/2010.htm

and this is Brett's famous "Successful site in 12 months with Google alone" (posted on Feb 2002 BTW).

Every once in a while there's a big flack about re-posting WMW content. I've had some of my WMW posts reposted as on blogs. I always tell them to take it down (why should they get Adsense revenue off something I gave away for free?)

I don't think Brett sues for pleasure (because he's been threatened with so many law suits over stupid things - a company saying they were dissed on his forum will threaten to sue over a post), but they are cagey about that sort of thing. If you are actually a member at WMW (and apparently you are), you've violated the usage agreement. Not sure if it's a contract, but they are real serious about that agreement over there and possibly in theory they could probably go after you.

Don't go posting page after page of shit unless
1. you hold the copyright (clearly not)
2. you know how to cover your tracks (most definitely not)
3. you are 13 and can't be tried as an adult (waiting on more data)

Yeeeesh!

Your a little bitch. Shut up.

Actually, he's completely right.. It says in the TOS here that you can repost just so long as it doesn't potentially get me sued. I know for a fact that Brett Tabke would at least contact me to have me take it down, because he wrote the damn thing for his forum years ago anyhow. It's not even that good of a post, so why take a risk of being threated to be sued? Ya dig? Although that would make for some good press..

Thanks! I always love it when I make a new friend. BTW, for the record, a little bitch would have told Brett, not Jon. From where I stand, that's an important difference, but you're entitled to your opinion.

Anyway, based on Jon's response, I realized that maybe I should hope that he does get sued for something someone posted on his site. It sure seems to be working for Shoemoney.

Damn. In retrospect, this wasn't a good idea... thanks for heads up ergophobe.
