A query about my domain

I registered a domain few weeks back. Today, I checked for the domain and came to know it's a 5 year old domain and had a PR5 before but now it has dropped to PR0. I never knew about this when I registered the domain.

May be I was lucky to choose that domain to register. Now, I really wonder if Google will have any special concern for my domain as it is 5 years old domain and previously had a PR5. Will it make my SEO easier for this domain?

has the domain been dropped and re-registered? by the sounds of it, you just picked up an expired domain, which would explain this

Make sure you redirect incoming links to something rather than 404s

Google will probably not be fooled but it doesn't hurt to try.

The domain dropped and after a month or so I registered. Again, I searched archive.org and saw the previous version of my site. Well, I have around 9 links in Google. I am building links. I wish to know if I will gain the advantage since it was 5 years old although it was dropped.
