A single offer for a niche network

I've never been on the offer side, but there's a first time for everything I guess.

The product I'm pitching is an interactive PDF/service produced by a friend and me. It's niche oriented and delivered via email.

Right now, we use a single PayPal account to see sales and with no worry because there is no affiliate selling it. But it won't stay this simple.

A well-thought of blogger within a large niche-related social media platform and network has shown some interest in bringing the product to his handlers. He agrees the product is a timely b2b solution (timely as in: use it Aug/Sept). I'll be talking to the network very shortly.

Please let me know if I'm going in the right direction, here's what I have so far:

- unit price is $450 ($75 seller's concession) & delivery of product is a snap, just an email and contact exchanged for a further service.

- we are ready to provide the network "exclusivity" of the offer (but only if they ask) - can't get it anywhere else. Would walk this back, if it's a bad idea.

- the network will likely put the offer out to a number of websites within its network ... am I wrong in assuming they will be able to handle stats?

On our end, no delivery of product = no sale, so we are not worried too much about that.

- Not sure how much this matters, but we have good references right up to the owner of the network.

- We can also provide YouTube vid/a jpeg (decent enough, not that spiffy), and testimonials if they ask.

I've never done this before - are there any glaring gaps I'm missing here? Anything I should expect?

Any tips for a more seamless process would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Don't go exclusive.

Research the reputation of the network/owner thoroughly.

Get advice from a lawyer on whatever agreements/contracts you sign.

Thank you.

I'm making a landing page today on Lander, ever hear of that? (landerapp.com) ... it's better than what I can whip up on a WP blog page to show.

using a 3rd party site to create your landers seems like a great idea! :p

What can I say? My options and my time are limited. The best I could do on my existing WP site looked unacceptable to me - and tweaking its theme has proven a pain in the ass on more than one occasion.

All I want is a page that looks decent. As I said above, the product is a PDF and a service and the shelf life will be the next 2 months or so. An interested business can't get it anywhere else.

You say you dont have time but you keep wasting time trying to tweak the lander and it still looks shit?
In the meantime you should have hired 1-2 designers to make you landers..
