Account Management Software

I'm thinking of building a site with user-generated content, so I need a login / account management system. I'll also be installing vBulletin on the site, so I need my primary site login to be able to talk to forum software so people don't have to login twice.

I've searched around for things like "login software" and "account management software" but am not really finding anything useful.

Can anyone recommend anything?

I would honestly say (if i understand what you are looking for correctly) your best bet would be a custom coding job.

@tflnetwork - seriously? it's such a common need for so many sites, i'd be really surprised if there isn't some off-the-shelf product could use.

Membership software - aMember Pro

I know the PPC-Coach site uses it with vBulletin.
