Addon domain mess!

I am facing some problems with addon domains.

After adding an addon domain to my webhost, i did some redirects and
users instead of seeing this,

ww.maindomain.com/addondomain/index.html

i got them to see this
ww.addondomain.com

But when google index my website, it still shows
ww.maindomain.com/addondomain/index.html
together with
ww.addondomain.com.


I would like to hide my maindomain name

How do i do that?

What does your .htaccess file look like? (omitting your domain, of course)

This is at the addon domain level
RewriteEngine on

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^addondomain.com$
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/blog
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.maindomain.com/addondomain/ [R=301,L]
