So I am just now learning about Adsense. I just loaded my ads onto my site, and the ads showing are not that relevant to my website. I read about "competitive ad filter". Does that mean I have to enter every url that is appearing that is not relevant to my site? Or are there any "tricks" like meta tags, html codes, etc., that can tell the google bot what to place on my site? Any advice is appreciated!

Blessings!

The ads become more relevant as the adsense spiders goes through your site. Before the site gets spidered they just try to give you ads relevant to any words in the domain name.

It doesn't matter what shows on your computer. The results will be slightly different depending on where the visitor is, what isp they're on and whether they have the google toolbar installed.

If you just signed up, like others have said, you won't get too relevant of ads. The longer you have the ads posted and the more page views you get, the more relevant they will become.

Refreshing helps as well as simply clicking through threads and posts.
