If I've got an adsense purposed site, where the whole idea is to generate adsense revenue, does it matter when searching for keywords if I use broad or exact for my keyword? Changing between the two effects the Estimated Avg CPC, and lowers it on exact.

Your question does not make any sense.
Of course it matters. Not for your ranking, but for your estimated traffic and therefore potential profit if you are targeting a specific keyword, which I am assuming you are doing with an Adsense site.
If your site is not specific but more generalized to the entire search term, in other words you are not targeting an exact match domain, then the broad can possibly serve you better.
But if you are asking this question I can only assume you should be targeting specific terms with local results.
