I noticed that AFF pays an ungodly amount per signup, so I'm interested in getting in on that. I live in a college town, so I'm thinking of buying a domain name targeted to the area, and then make it a simple portal for men and women to the main AFF site.

The problem is, I don't know how to drive traffic. I was thinking of putting up a hundred flyers around campus, but those would probably get torn down. Any ideas?
 


1) Make a fake account with a hot girl as profile pic.
2) Make a flyer with pic of the girl, and list landing page url as your "album" pictures.
3) On the landing page, have pictures of this girl, and make her profile link be your affiliate url.
5) Go to pizza places, pay them $50 to put up the flyer on the glass for each week.
6) Profit.
 
I'd be weary of AFF's program - they scrub a lot. I have been getting paid by them for years now - but I think its better to explore other options. LavaLife's campaign is good, not as high payout - but good.

You need people to either pay 20 or 30$/month to get the 120$ signup for AFF. It's hard, but I have moderate success with it. Couple stacks a month - nothing huge.
 
Agree with tacoX above - I've also been sending them traffic for a few years organically, nothing mega but a steady flow and despite my best efforts, the rev-share signups trickle along nicely whereas the full paid big signups are just seemingly almost impossible to get conversions on. I guess no surprise if you think that it'll take them 6 months @ $20/mo to get back the payout - and that assumes that whoever stays signed up and forgets to turn off autobill in their profile. I was always a bit suspicious of scrubbing etc, and the low low low conversion rate so have largely stuck to the rev share links, but its a smaller payout and again only any good if they stay signed up for a while.

As for ideas - how about hiring a male and female model and getting them to hand out flyers on campus or wherever - as long as the girl's cute and not wearing much you're guaranteed some attention! You could also merge this idea with ROI's above I guess - make each model a profile page etc etc - with a live girl in front of them you're bound to get signups as a result!

Probably also worth remembering that the ratio of male:female members is extremely skewed on there - at a guess I would say probably something like at least 40-50:1. Women won't need to pay generally, as they will be instantly besieged with emails as soon as they put a flesh pic up. ;)
 
With AFF u gotta maintain their shit..
Like i was dropped and my 220$ were taken by them cause i wasn't able to continue to their signup streak..
