Adult Traffic, Non Adult Site

My news blog gets a lot of search engine referrals for adult terms, like 'porno', 'sex videos', '3gp sex', things like that. About 3000 page views a day on those terms and similar. The site is actually not adult, and I can't, or don't want it to become an adult site.

Anyway I'm asking what if anything should I "do" with this traffic. Previously I had adsense on the pages, but low epc and the best performing page got totally filtered out, no ads showing at all. So then I tried banners for cams.com, so far one sale in about 100 confirmed sign-ups.

Any better ideas?
 


Thanks, but it's not exactly like that, I do have pages that *discuss* news items dealing with sex topics, that's why I'm getting the se traffic on those terms, but no actual porn.

I guess I'm thinking along the lines of not wanting to "waste" the traffic, I'd like to do something with it, and ideally not just throw it at another site/company for them to benefit from it, and hope I pick up some loose change along the way.
 
You could suck the porn terms out of the referrer link and if they include porn terms, swap a different advertisement.

For instance, read "HTTP_REFERER" and if the referrer includes google.com, take the ?search=blahblah" portion and if it includes "big boobies" then swap out your tupperware advertisement for one for busty magazine.
 
Well let's say I didn't want to send the traffic to another site, I mean a site owned by somebody else. Let's say the adult traffic is in a particular niche, it's concerned with sex stuff in a particular country, and that I know where to find hundreds of homemade 3gp videos of this sort of thing.

Would it be a good idea to package those videos, and offer them for $9.99 per 100, or something like that? I'm thinking that lots of people just don't know where to find them, I do the leg-work and offer them up on a platter for a small fee.
 
You could sell a package, but most people searching for 3gp clips are just looking for a free download so they'll move on to the next link. You could consider developing a free site around these 3gp videos and serving up ads.
