Amazing and super WF brainiacs. I'm not even sure why I am posting this here because I'm just going to open myself to ridicule and get lousy answers, but I decided to run it as a contest to see if I could raise up the level of input.
I want to build a website. It's a simple idea really, but I'm not familiar with how to pull it off. I normally build in Joomla, but that won't work for this site.
I want it to be mobile (micro). I want to set up a home page with 10 Categories. When you click on a category, you would get a stream of content that is put there by users. It's like a Facebook or Twitter, but specific to the one top (10 categories). Most input would be put in by phone or just posted like Facebook.
Obviously, I don't have millions of dollars to build a new Facebook or Twitter, but it doesn't need to be pretty or robust. We are talking about a running stream of user-input content. That shouldn't be that hard.
Any ideas? Is there a CMS that is directed at this type of site? If you need more information, then I'd be happy as a pig in crap to provide it.

You may not like the prize pool, but think about it.....$10 for taking 2 minutes to write a post. That works out to $300 an hour and I don't even pay hookers that.
