hello,

need some advice. i started a zip submit campaign last month and was doing pretty well for a couple of days. then they started to scrub. so then i started to promote an offer with "no scrub" which turned out really good for about 3-5 days. then the CTR dropped drastically, i am talking about more that half. wonder why? i was pulling in more "targeted traffic" but for some odd reason my ctr dropped.

so then i switched it to another zip campaign and the same traffic converted well for the new one then after a few hours the conversion ration dropped on this one as well.

now this is really bugging me. do you guys experience this as well when u promote zip & email campaigns?

is their a way around this to consistently get a high CTR?

thanks in advance.

This happens with more than 80% of email/zip submits. The only thing you can do is keep searching and searching for those that don't start scrubbing out of the blue. Tedious, yes.

Its normal. It's hard to not get scrubbed on email or zip submits. Also ones that say "no scub" are bullshit. They all scrub.

I found one gem that brought me 90% roi, and only worked on one network...lasted 3 months..and then wham..dead overnight. Couldnt revive it to save my ass.
I miss that little bitch...

There is also something I want to point out, try going direct with them. The reason why most submits end up being scrubbed the most is because they are constantly targeted for fraud, and the advertiser then scrubs ALL affiliates. So, by you directly getting into a relationship with the advertiser, the scrub rate will now depend only on YOUR performance.. You just need to make sure your pulling in quality traffic and one that converts on the back-end. I went direct with a advertiser a while ago, for a few months. I was running it at around 60-70% CTR, and at a $2.00 payout. Made quite a bit of money of it.

But basically, the reason for this reply is to get you contacting advertisers directly, if you know you can bring in:
1) Converting Traffic
2) A lot of traffic.

Your question is confusing.

You first mention getting scrubbed, then your ctr dropping, then your conversion rate dropping and your final question is "is their a way around this to consistently get a high CTR".

Are you asking how to keep from getting scrubbed or are you asking how to get a high CTR?

Your question is confusing.

Question seems to be clear to me. FYI, dropping of conversions is a factor of being scrubbed.

He is complaining about scrubbing issues but his question seems to be how to keep a high CTR, so no it's not clear.

Seems to me that the OP mistakenly used CTR instead of CR. Otherwise yes, your right; CTR wouldn't make much sense.

Fixing my typo:

But, if you minimize the scrubbing rate, you maximize your conversion rate.

Though I do have to mention that I have been several times scrubbed by advertisers that basically didn't even count your click and lead altogether, so that may be what the OP is talking about.

thanks for the reply guys. to clear things up i want to mention that my conversion ratio was high before, then it suddenly dropped but the traffic remained the same ( just a tad bit increase in trafffic that i was pulling in).

but i appreciate for the input. ill try to see if i can go directly to the advertiser.

The zip and email submits seem to always scrub hard no matter which ones they are. Whenever I ran submits I would keep a bunch of them rotating (like 20) and continuously swap out the shitty ones with fresh ones but depending on how you're promoting them, that might not work. I was doing polls.

working direct with the advertiser is the key on email/zip submits. unless you are pushing bullshit traffic that is. then you will just have to roam the networks switching out offers when they starting getting scrubbed.
