AdWords question: unpausing campaign - no impressions

I've got 2 campaigns (content network) I had to pause about 10 days ago. They were getting about 1 million impressions per day with around 1000 clicks.

I unpaused them 5 days ago but haven't received any impressions. Waited 2 days if impressions kick in, nothing. Inreased bids 20%, nothing. Increased bids 50%, nothing.

Keywords and ads are shown as active. I see no reason why they shouldn't run just fine.

Do I have to move campaigns to new domains and start from scratch? Any tips?
 


I had one content network campaign I paused for a month and restarted last month after my AM gave me a new merchant. Took 5 days to start getting impressions but traffic went to normal up to now.

I had another one that I paused for 2.5 months and restarted last April. Kept it active for a month with nothing happening. Suddenly got impressions and clicks one day. The next day, no impressions again. I unpaused it again last month & changed the domain name - still nothing.

Not sure how it works but my guess is QS takes a shit when a campaign is paused. Maybe best to start a new campaign + a new domain.
 
It's not ringtones, it's freebies. I'm not sure if it's good idea to contact support. Can't they ban the whole account for advertising freebie offers?
 
sorry- semi-unrelated, but similar question: at what point should one start a new account? should you use a sole account for shit offers (ie, those without good sites behind them)? or does it take a while for campaign/domain qs to affect qs for your entire account?
 
My guess is you got content slapped while it was paused. G's been cracking down on certain verticals over the last couple weeks.

I would not contact support about it. They're mostly useless and it can only get you in further trouble if they do a manual review.

Just to update everyone who might experience the same problem.

I bought new domains, created new campaigns, copied adgroups from old campaigns to the new ones. Plus I deleted the old campaigns (not sure if this was necessary but why to keep them anyway).

It looks like everything is back to normal. Let's see how long it lasts.

Not long. G slapped me again, 48 hours later and new domains are getting zero impressions. Looks like it's time for a new account and smarter strategy.
