Is there a way to see exactly what keywords are triggered when i'm using broad match for a keyword? I am getting clicks and impressions but I want to make sure that i know which phrases are being searched for.

Use a tracker like Prospor202, then when you import your cost data from adwords it should link up and tell you the exact keywords.

immediately install prosper202 or at least start using tracking202. if you're not tracking conversions at the keyword level you're in trouble. it's a cornerstone of ppc.

Dude. Do not buy any software for this if you use Google which is most likely anyway. This is bare bones okay? You can go to Google Adwords via your account. Click on the "Reports" tab.

Click "Create Report". Choose your date range and the campaign you are running Then run report.

After the report cycles, you click on the report name and voila!

PS. Doing this will put you ahead of a lot of noobs. When I first started I was losing a lot of money on "broad" keywords because I did not use "Negative Keywords". This report will save you money and help to pin point your audience. Good Luck!

Tony115 is right, there are a lot of powerful tools that Google offers to address these and similar issues.

It is really important to be careful choosing your keywords. There are a lot of terms that are great for getting clicks, but the traffic doesn't convert. Lots of paid bad traffic is many times worse than not enough traffic.
