I'm trying to get started in affiliate marketing, so I tried to set up affiliate accounts with NeverBlue and MediaTrust. I haven't heard back from the MediaTrust, but NeverBlue mailed me to tell me that they rejected my application *sobs*. They didn't specifically tell me why.

How do I make sure I get accepted?

I live in the UK, and don't have a website yet. For my phone number I put +44 (this should be UK area code?) then my mobile number. Do you think they'll be able to contact me on that OK?

Thanks in advance for your help guys n gals.

If you got denied without a call it was probably because your application was incomplete or you did not provide enough information/detail to show your experience/describe your "plan".

If you want to take a shot with a real live AM on the phone, ping me and I'll pass along your details.

We apologize in advance for any wrongful denial, but please keep in mind that your application is mixed in with all the garbage that we get on a daily basis.

I just got accepted by CJ and Tradedoubler and i am in the UK. I called them, registered on the site and showed them one site i had built. I have now been accepted by an advertiser now so am running ads. I think you need a website.

In my experience if you submit the application and call them directly after and let them know you are much less likely to get mixed all the other requests.

Being new here I am very impressed that two AM's answered in one thread! :)
