affiliate company charge back?

I was promoting an offer on a network, and it was on a site that i did not originally sign up with (i bought traffic on other sites and sent them to my site) ... however the network knew It wasn't the only site i was promoting on...

Later the advertiser finds out, tells them there not happy and even though they got the leads, want to charge the aff company for not verifiying now the aff company wants me to pay the 'fine'.. what to do?
 


Find out why the advertiser isn't paying. It's the network's responsibility to collect on legitimate traffic. Was the traffic legit?

Work with your network to come to a meaningful resolution. Getting paid for some of the leads is better than none.
 
its more about not paying the fine and continuing, the aff company was okay with it until the advertiser complained about source of traffic (quality of leads were fine).
