affiliate manager career???

im wondering if anyone has input on a job/career as an affiliate manager. what's the pay like? what's the day-to-day like? and whats the end game? i imagine i would see so many campaign that if i decided to leave and get into affiliate marketing for my self i'd have a huge leg up, right ?

haha what's the issue? i guess it's frowned upon for an AM to later become a publisher? that's interesting, so what's done to actually prevent that from happening? got to be something, otherwise i imagine this would happen pretty often, right? unless AMs command a pretty legit salary... educate me damnit!
