Hey guys,

New to the forum first post and thought I would just do a brief introduction then hopefully I can contribute anyway I can. Obviously this is the perfect forum for me as I am a complete newbie to this.

I come from the poker forums and well after legislation I am very interested in learning a lot of passive income ways of the world and this forum has a wealth of information and I'd like to thank you all for that I have been lurking for a few days now. As many of you know legislation for gaming is kind of wierd right now and I lost about 30 players for Rakeback on Party that were earning me close to $300 bucks a month passively.

I do not own any domains, don't know much about web design, and well I am a computer web orientated person though. I do a lot of stuff online with work. I write for a golf magazine from a home office and well I thought what better time then now to get involved. I'm 25, have a masters degree in Business Administration and in January will be going back to get a masters degree in English Literature. Ok enough about me.....

Is there any starting advice one would give to me a complete newb to adsense and sites in general? How did you all get started? Ok and well I look at the returns you all have and I know I have a long way to go and am willing to put the time and a couple of years to grow.

Hopefully this can be a cool home to me know that poker is somewhat questionable. Holla.

Thanks for the links as well. I have been reading them. So much content :) which is a good thing. I recently registered 3 domains and I am looking to the first few steps into getting a layout going. I know nothing about web design and from what I have read its somewhat frustrating. Any advice in that regard would be great. My goal is to get these three sites up and running with content updated every other day. Nothing to fancy just enough that it is sufficient and easy to add more while I learn. Thanks again. I am the ultimate newbie.

Glad you find it useful. :playboy_sml:

Now go start working on your sites and come back to WF often with questions & results so we can all make money together!

When it comes to making your sites, I suggest using Wordpress. It is a content management system, that sorta acts like Microsoft word when it comes to writing your articles. With the click of a button, it updates your webpage with the content you typed, and allows visitors to comment on your work. Wordpress is also very customizable, and there are thousands of templates for you to chose from (and switching templates is easy). You can check it out here:
