anyone have problems adding credit cards to facebook

I had one that was working, but i hit my limit and i tried to add 2 more cards on and i keep getting this

"Unable to add credit card. Please correct the following problems:
* Sorry, we were unable to process your order at this time."

I thought i read other people were having problems with this.
 


Yeah, I have the same problem, can't purchase any ads from Facebook. I mailed to their support and got a reply that there is nothing they can do, my card doesn't pass the security check and I should contact my card issuer (i.e. my bank). So I contacted my bank and after 3 weeks I got a reply that "they haven't noticed any issues with cards recently and that I should contact Facebook". Long story short, I got so pissed off that I changed my bank right next day.

that's not your bank's fault. Facebook doesn't even ATTEMPT to chage. I was on the fuckin phone with amex during one of these attempted "verifications". Once you're blacklisted you're blacklisted.

I didn't really care whose fault it was. I received late and rather arrogant reply. If they showed at least some interest in my problem I would stay with them but they didn't care at all. I've had some issues with them before, the cc problem was just a last drop in the full cup.

Anyway, Facebook need to get their shit together. Either sort out the cc problems or start accepting Paypal.
 
Happened to me also, don't bother calling support, they're completely useless, I tried three different times and got "try a different browser", "we're working on it", and "...". They obviously feel that they are sitting on a gold mine and the normal rules of running a business (ie. generating revenue) don't apply to them.
 
I owe them $1300, you would think they would at least try to accept one card just for that transaction lol.
 
anyone have a phone number to call at facebook?
I dont think an emails going to cut it this time. If they blackballed me im gonna be so pissed.
All my cards are in good standing
 
When I tried to use the FB ads when they came out, I tried it out with one of my pre-paid credit cards.
Whilst they don't accept them, they never gave me a decent reason why not.
I also get the feeling they're not actually checking and verifying, because it returned to the page in under 2 seconds... which on Australian internet, is literally unbelievably fast for something that's got to go through a secured 3rd party portal.
Yet they still charged my card the $1 checking fee.

Yet another reason I don't bother with FaceBook, and deactivated my account there.
