I've got some time this evening so for shits and giggles I was wondering if anyone would like to follow a 1 campaign arbi test with me.

I am not an arbi expert. I followed the info here and elsewhere, dabbled in 19 campaigns, haven't lost any money but only about 3 pages make any money. Very little at that, maybe $2 to $3 a day.

As Chris Lingle deleted chunks of one of the most popular threads I was wondering if there is enough interest in this project. I plan to have more screenshots than the previous post and give out the page, keywords, ads, tools used. Everything.

Because I'm no pro, maybe the experts can chime in and critique it as well.

It could be a great learning experience for you and the community. HOWEVER.. it wouldn't make a lot of sense for you to do it. If any of your campaigns were working, people would just come in, make a better landing page and ad copy, and bid one cent higher than you for your keywords.

It seems like a lot of hard work just to have someone take it.

Thanks for the concern. I plan to do this on a separate domain than my arbi site. I will be using my WF educational project niche site domain. The single arbi page will look completely different and be in a sub directory. If it becomes a moneymaker I only lose 1 campaign and maybe learn a few things.

Hey why not, Chrislingle fucked the whole community, when he pulled his posts. If you know what you are doing go for it, but do everyone a favor, if your looking for attention and have no clue, dont bother. No info is better than misleading info.

I know what I'm doing and the steps required but as I said I'm not an expert. I've done campaigns following steps from the earlier post but there are still things I could learn from the pros. I see this as an educational project for everyone. Hopefully the pros here will point out the missteps.

Still, it's not rocket science and there are still people here asking pretty basic questions.

To quote Drusam from that post.
I'm all for having hands-on lessons and everything, but I don't understand how all of this arbitrage business is such a difficult concept:

1. Load up 2nd or 3rd tier ppc search account with money.
2. Find a niche that has a decent pay per click, like 0.50 cents and up.
3. Find as many relevant keywords as you can.
4. Make a 1 to 5 page site with a little content here and there.
5. Place ads in a real easy and obvious position, rectangle ads work best.
6. Don't pay much more than 10 cents for your keywords ( or as Jon said in his blog shoot for no more than 6 cents...)
7. Start your campaign.
8. Watch your stats. Make sure you are making more than you spend.
9. Just use a template over a few times, make a new one occasionally. Use the same generic domain with subdomains or directories.
10. Adjust. Rinse. Repeat. Improve.

Does anybody have Chris' posts archived?

Shit even a simple copy and paste into a text file would be good.

Good luck with your arbi-adventure!

Let us know how it goes!

I think this board really needs a full-disclosure arbitrage test. Heres what i'll do to help. Anyone who is actively involved in the test, i will give a subscription of www.mfablocker.com, which will wash out the other MFA sites giving you cheap clicks.

Just PM me when you guys have everything setup.

Eduardo.

I'm also interested in participating.
I'm no pro at this but I'm having enough success with it that I could help.

Please read the first entry of this post. The test is being done right now on another thread.
