This is a new term I've only seen around here.

Would someone catch me up on what this is. Google turns up definitions and this site turns up apparent PPC strategies.

I am a niche marketer so maybe I'm already participating but yeah, tune me in please.

basically the concept is buying something and selling the same thing for profit using a different medium.

sorta like buying a bike on craigslist for $50 and selling it on ebay for $100.

---

most people do click arbitrage.
buying traffic for cheap (from somewhere like 7search) and selling it for more (basically getting people to click on google ads) and generating a profit.

Thing is, I DID search here first.

This is an interesting concept. I like it. However, buying traffic from traffic sites is usually junk traffic. You guys must know of real traffic sites that send real people, not bots and proxy traffic.

Barman, are those mentioned trustworthy for real traffic as mentioned above?

Also, does anyone know when this concept started? This is basically being a traffic middleman.

I don't know how it started but I do know that you can also use Adwords to get the targeted traffic your looking for, you could use MSN Adcenter as well but you've got to be careful and do your research because it could end up costing you more then your making.

As far as I know, all of those are legit traffic sources. But you can do a search on here or google on anyone of those to see what people think of them.
