I'm posting this on Wickedfire because I know a lot of you are self-motivated, have entrepreneurial mindsets, and are able to set your own work schedules without needing managers breathing down your necks.
Business Overview
I'm a 50/50 owner of a dietary supplement company, Health Supplement Wholesalers LLC. Here is one of our Amazon stores:
http://www.amazon.com/shops/HSW/
HSW targets consumers who want to build their own supplements without paying the high prices at GNC or Vitamin Shoppe, which is why we primarily sell bulk powder supplements. But we do also sell brand names, like Primaforce, Smart Powders, and SciVation.
We've managed to sustain over 20% sales growth each month over the past year because of lean and automated supply chain management, having employees in manufacturing countries, and efficient use of online marketing and outsourced labor. Below is a screen displaying the growth of our larger Amazon store from the beginning of January until the end of April:

Each division of our business is headed by a carefully selected individual whose entrepreneurial sense of business, and commission based pay structure promotes rapid growth. One division that we haven't put much time or resources into yet is business to business sales.
Position Details
We would like to delegate our customer service, eBay management, and B2B sales to someone with an entrepreneurial mindset. While prioritizing their time for big ticket B2B customers, this person should also know how to outsource simple customer service tasks as sales continue to increase. You will be working remotely (after the first month), and will be responsible for managing yourself as well as any labor that you hire when you choose to do so. You will get a flat percentage of online store consumer sales and a percentage of gross margin from B2B sales.
We currently do have a list of about 250 potential business customers who have purchased at least 1KG of product in one order, or have spent at least $250 on a single order. We used outsourced labor to sift through 1+ year's worth of orders and generate this starting list of leads, and we have a recommended team of foreign labor if you didn't want to spend time looking for reliable labor for menial CS tasks.
What's the Pay?
This position is entirely commission based, and there are 2 payouts. First, the smaller biweekly payout of the percentage of online store consumer sales. Second, is the larger monthly payout of the percentage of B2B gross profit.
For business to business sales, you will receive 25% of gross profit after cost of goods sold and the transaction fee (about 3%). You set the price, as long as it's above cost, for B2B customers, so the margin will vary based on the sale quantity and the customer's bargaining skill. For example, if a KG of DMAA is $188 at cost, an average domestic business expects to pay around $400-$500 for 1KG, whereas a domestic business purchasing 10KG may only be willing to pay $300 per KG. A few international customers have even paid over $900 for 1 KG of DMAA.
For online store sales, you will receive 0.5% of all online store sales, which consist of both Amazon stores, both eBay stores, and other independent online stores. With a conservative projection of only 15% monthly growth, this will be $32,500 for the first year. $32k isn't much, but this consumer customer service part of the position is simple, it only currently takes 10-20 hours weekly, and at least 80% of the work can be outsourced to cheap labor. If you need references for outsourced labor, we have several teams who already work for us. This will leave you with the majority of your time to focus on the much higher paying B2B sales.
eBay store management entails overseeing our outsourced eBay team of workers. This currently only requires 3-5 hours per week, and we pay for the outsourced eBay team labor.
If you're worried about not being paid enough, we guarantee a minimum of $50k per year (minimum of $4167/month) after your initial 2 month training period. You will be paid $20/hour for your first 2 months with the first month being local training and the second, remote training. If you are not earning a monthly payout that equates to a six-figure salary within your first 18 months, then the position would not be for you.
This is a contractor position, and you will need to provided your own remote workspace, be it your home or an office; and your labor, if needed.
Opportunity for other Ventures
We are using our current business model to branch out into other goods, such as security electronics and teas. If you excel in the supplements business and have proved your ability to scale with increasing sales, you may take over these areas of the other businesses as well, allowing you to increase your commission further.
Training and Probation Period
Your first 2 months will be a training and assessment period to make sure you are right for the team.
Month 1: Local Training, $700/week
Our business is currently in Red Lion, Pennsylvania. We will pay for your plane tickets and housing up to $1,000. There are plenty of month-to-month rentals in the area as local college students are leaving for the summer. We'll assist in finding a rental.
During this first month, you will learn or prove your knowledge of Amazon/eBay, and learn our business model and products in detail. Previous experience with dietary supplements is not required. We'll also help you get started with various projects to get you started with increasing B2B sales. Each week will be 35-40 hours. This first month may be cut short if you learn everything fast and are ready to start work remotely.
Month 2: Remote Training, $800/week
During the second month, you will work remotely, while we answer any questions and ensure progress. By the end of the month, you will prove that you can accomplish customer service while increasing B2B sales with minimal management from us.
Questions / Apply
Many of you on this board are self-starters, and do not want a 9-5 job with time constraints and a capped salary. If this sounds like something you've been looking for, send me a PM with a link to your resume (ge.tt if you need to upload), or your email if you prefer sending it that way.
