ok guys, Im not a newbie to running or building sites (or SEO..) but Im pretty new to affiliate stuff, having only run a couple of adsense and adword campaigns in the past.

Ive got a relatively busy internet forum (focused on one make of car)

60,000 unique visitors per month and growing about 10% per month for the last 3 months.

Would be interested to see how the 'Pro's on here suggest I make it pay me back for all the hours Ive spent on it!!!

In terms of, adsense (not keen on Google)

Selling affiliate products (related area)

and so on

All help appreciated :D

I'd recommend applying for the Ebay Partner Network and (pending approval) start showing relevant auctions for those cars + parts.

being part of a rare car forum, I can say that the above could work.
I would love if they showed auctions as ads somewhere on it, because shit it is hard to find parts.

In addition to EPN you might be able to have a premium member service where users pay to get extra features. Keep in mind this will only work if you have a strong community, and if the features are any good.

Make some polls or quiz pages and creatives on the the car you are dealing with. <--make it a get a $500 gift card or something

Also since it is cars, Look into car insurance offers, financing. Maybe look into getting into Best Buy, Crutchfield or some affiliate programs that give you a revshare, rims, spoilers and mods for the cars you have.

Thanks a lot guys :)

Some great ideas in there.... I have already got the monthly subs down on the list and the membership are more than happy with it.

Just got to get the work done on it now!!

Is it just me that hates google? but rely on them a whole lot as well...... :/
