Best way to release an exclusive coupon?

Hi guys,
my highest converting affiliate "Widget Corp" gave me an exclusive coupon to use, "COUPON5",

it gives people 5% off for life, big deal but whatever, it's an exclusive coupon that no one else has (as far as I know).

My question is, how should I release the coupon?

- Put it on a page on my site entitled "Widget Corp Coupons and promo codes " and then just list it in plaintext, next to a link to the affiliate signup page,
e.g. "Use COUPON5 when signing up for an exclusive discount!~ Click here to use the coupon"

- Release it on my Twitter page as a tweet

- Have something like a 2-step process,
e.g "Like our Facebook page to receive an exclusive 'Widget Corp' discount coupon"
"Sign up to our mailing list to receive coupon"

and then email/message them with the coupon..

- Post on the major Widget Corp forums, "Hey guys I got hold of a new coupon, check out my site to claim your coupon" with a link to my site...

What's the best way???

I guess the reason I'm asking is, I don't want to give it away for nothing , as it's just a plaintext coupon and other people could potentially just copy/paste it onto their own sites without linking back to me or clicking thru my link...

Ask them to tie the coupon to your affiliate account. That way if someone does copy your coupon you get commissions every time it's used regardless if the visitor uses your link or not.

Emmm, you can use all these ways to have a release, can't you? Twitter, forums and your site.

That is a great idea,
they're using WMH hosting panel for tracking affiliate clicks
is it possible to do it with that system?
