What is the best wordpress store plugin? I am especially concerned about payment options as I need to be able to accept credit/debit cards. Ease of use and SEO are my other major considerations.

shopperpress is really nice. Wish it wouldve existed back in the day when I was making ecommerce sites with oscommerce and joomla.

it looks like shopper press does not accept credit cards. I cant find any that accept credit cards that are wordpress ready.

Am I missing something? Those integrated payment plans all look like things you have to sign up for and do not include visa, mastercard

If you plan a small site, go to pick a suitable wp theme which don't pretend to be a big guy and use paypal.

If you really want to go big, plan it well at the beginning. Consider Mangento, Drupal or Zencart as hosted solution and enable credit card at Authorize.net. Or you can also consider some cloud solutions.

For ecommerce, Wordpress is a toy, no matter how nice the theme is.

'Always be evil' seems to love wordpress so it's a good choice for ecom sites in my opinion. My current project is small scale, with less than 30 products so I just made my own home grown cart that works side by side with WP.

Wordpress doesn't screw with the session so it's easy to integrate. I personally hate how most shopping carts take over the site. I wanted something that waited patiently in the background until I called it.

Has anyone ever modded out shopperPress to work with other themes? Is it designed to be modular?

do you have any idea what it means to just take credit cards? Authorize.net is a good choice, but with any CC processor, you will need a merchant account, and that involves monthly fees. Authorize.net is one of the most common and a lot of the Merchant Accounts you'll come across out there are more than likely to be just a reseller for Authorize.net

Shopperpress doesn't actually take credit cards technically... they shoot out to payment gateways... no on-site processing...

I know, I own it.

I'm really new to wordpress even though I've been designing websites for over a decade.

Anyway, I just set up an online store using WP Simple Paypal Shopping cart. Seems to work alright for my purposes thusfar.

You own shopperpress? I'm tempted to jump on it, does the price include future updates, themes. And to be cheeky any wickedfire discount please?

Thanks

Does Shopperpress let you set stock for multiple variations of a single product?

For example, I have a Labor Day t-shirt that is available in red, white, and blue, that I'd like to have a single product page for, but I also need to be able to track the stock of each individual color sold.

Any ideas from Shopperpress owners?
