Blimey.

Put it where ever you want, I’m not bothered.

I thought I’d post them as those are the biggest kei’s I’ve found as I only started using Wordtracker a few days ago.

Are they big, small, average? anyone got any bigger?

Is there a theoretical roof on how big a kei be?

I like the topic but I am a noob. I haven't (yet) used WordTracker to go hunting for niches - only to gather keywords for niches I'm already in.

What'd be interesting though is give some idea (don't have to give the keyword away) of what you found and how you plan to monetize it.

My researches tell me that a KEI of 1000+ is pretty good.

Out of 30.000 Keywords that I have researched about 1000 had a KEI of 1000+ ... the highest KEI in that list is an unbelievable 112812500 KEI (yes.. 112 million)... there are 20 KEI keywords with 1 mio+ KEI.

Still, that doesn't mean that the keyword will be profitable.. KEI is not everything that you need to look at... Most important is that you have paying customers in your niche who search for the keywords that you use.

What's the process of hunting for high KEI keywords? Just brainstorm and type them in? I can't imagine the mainstream automated methods (the various online tools, meta scraping, etc.) yields the nuggets???

Well, I use the Internet Business Promoter software to get these keywords. It includes all kinds of keyword research tools like Wordtracker, 7Search, Overture, Wordpot... It can also create combinations of different words. You type in one word and these tools spit out 100 other keywords... then again I type in some of these results and research "deeper".

So I gather a list of at least 1000 keywords and then I let the software get the numbers (KEI, searches, competition...). Finally I sort the list by these numbers and clean it.

These high KEI numbers come from many month of research... I researched about 100k keywords.
