Just wondering, I usually see IMs talking about how well they were doing leading up to and during the big weekend. Didn't see any threads so I thought I'd ask. Anyone kill it this year on BlackFriday/Cyber Monday on affiliate or ad revenue?

How's your holiday season going in terms of AM?
 


How many of you have seasonal websites? Just Christmas or Black Friday for example?

Do you get knocked down the rankings every year by new sites? How long before do you start linkbuilding?
 
I have a friend who has several black friday related domains and he just sat there and did nothing all year. Some were .info but some were .net and .org! I tried ever so tactfully to get him to let me develop the domains if he wasn't (I didn't offer profit share because they aren't THAT great of a domain where he deserves a cut for my hard work) but he insisted he "had it".

Another year and reg fee has passed and the domains aren't even developed...
