Ok, here's what I think to be a decent question for the experts here.
1. I run a campaign for Widgets. It's a $50 rebill offer, but for a niche product. I start my tests on Yahoo to look at the metrics. After 48 hours, I'm at about 500 clicks and 2 sales, epc is a pathetic .10
2. So I say to myself "Ok, before I give up on the offer, let me try one last thing".. I change the ad copy to clearly state "$49.95 monthly fee"
Over the past 48 hours, I've received twice the number of clicks, and just one conversion.
Obviously the offer is a dog, but how does one account for truth in advertising yielding this many clicks? I seriously figured by stating the $49.95 fee in the ad copy, my clicks counts would drop, but my CTR would go up. This makes no sense.
Logic is no longer a part of this, it seems there is no clear rhyme or reason to the PPC game, which scares the crap out of me.
