:angryfire:
the idea of the thread is to just give books that need to be read for beginners. like myself. basically make it a forum list

As a newbie myself, I would recommend skipping most books that focus specifically on internet marketing as they contain either outdated information or are a front end sale for a coaching/consulting package. Instead, you'll want to focus on learning traffic sources, how to write great sales copy, and learn some web development/design skills. Once you get a grasp on these basics, it just becomes plug and play to each different campaign that you work on.

General:

1) Millionaire Fastlane
2) Rich Dad, Poor Dad
3) Ca$hvertising
4) Millionaire Next Door
All by Felix Dennis

Copywriting:

1) Gary Halbert Letters
2) All by Dan Kennedy
3) Ca$hvertising
4) Kopy Writing Kourse (Nevin M)

The Millionaires fastlane that book is awesome that is what got me into IM in the first place.

It's also an awesome read
for all kinds entrepreneurial related.
It's a no thrills book. Plain and simply the
truth from somebody, who has done it.
Not some guru ass bla bla.

Most of the gurus became rich, trying to
teach other people how to become
rich. Imagine a virgin trying to tell
you how to get laid.:)
