So I've managed to buy a great dropped domain in my niche which was a popular pligg site for the niche in question. The owner let it go because he couldn't deal with the spam load.
I'd like to resurrect the site but on a better platform. I'm thinking wordpress with some plugins to allow users to submit pictures and news items. Then we need a voting system to allow the good stuff to reach the homepage.
So pretty much like Pligg, but looking better and spam-proof.
