I was driving around in Irvine today, which as some of you may know is yuppie-ville to the max. Anyway, I saw a bumper sticker, and it read:
"He who dies with the most toys, wins."
Which got my thinking...bullshit! I have a better one:
"He who dies with the most toys, is dead."
What do you guys think? Does this gentleman with the bumper sticker really believe that his whole purpose in life is to acquire useless shit to flaunt around to everyone else? Is his life of such a weak existence, that he thinks that showing off his money will bring meaning to his life? Don't get me wrong, I don't blame anyone with money to want to have a few toys here and there, but to make this pursuit the ultimate goal is about as meaningful as a 5 year old's story about a unicorn.
