Busted by an advertiser on adwords-suggestions

I was just beginning to test an offer when the advertiser shut me down.
It was for an online school, and I was using the school name and namesake kw's, along with the school url as the display url...
I dont run alot of stuff on adwords, so I dont really know what took me down..Im assuming the above..
Suggestions?

ps- amazingly enough, for the time that I was up, the school name and similar kw's were NOT converting at all...
 


That will do it. The education merchants are really anal about bidding on trademarked keywords. You can't bid on a straight up restricted keyword like that. Be careful and find a new offer.
 
I've yet to see a university that didn't have their name in the restricted keyword section. So you really should have either looked for the restricted keyword list, or verified with your affiliate manager.

What I would suggest doing is contacting your AM and tell them that you had a competitor that tried to sabotage you, and he purposely advertised your referral URL on restricted keywords.

Are you fucking stupid? Thats AFF marketing 101.
 
edu is one of the stricter niches out there. any mistake gets you the boot.
