Buying Established Websites - How to tell if the offer is a Scam??

I'm looking at buying an established website for around $25,000 and I'm wondering what key indicators would suggest the offer is a scam? In other words, when analyzing a potential website aquisition what do you first and foremost look at to tell if the you may be buying a bag of false goods? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
 


since u r new, my advise is dont spend that amount before doing proper research and till u feel cent percent confident in the website, The Business For Sale Buyer Resource Center - Diomo Corporation is a useful resourse. Spend atleast a month at sitepoint marketplace looking at different types of deals, different business models and reading the questions the potential buyers ask.....let me know if u need any help.
