Browsing through awstats today I noticed one of my sites is/has been getting ripped. 1900 hits from 1 IP in a few days.
Im curious what you guys do about this problem? I was thinking of writing a script that logs ips and if the same ip has too many requests in a certain time frame banning them. Is there an easier way of doing it? Do you reckon I might run into problems with major proxies?
