Clickbank - pixels placed?

Yeah... for accuracy sake you are better off asking the pub to place it on his ty page.

While you can insert G conv / analytics / YSM codes through YOUR CB interface, understand the the pixel will fire / postback will send before the sales transaction completes, meaning you WILL record sales that don't go through ...

If it's a private pixel, the pub is the one who has to do it.

I've never run shit from Clickbank, but I spy something I might like to run. Now I can't find out how to get a fucking pixel placed. Anybody?

I never ask to place pixels. You could of course use subid tracking. If that doesn't work for you try calling up.

Another thing you can try (and im not trying to insult you in any way...not a joke) is ask on digitalpoint because those guys are all over clickbank.

I was looking at releasing a product on clickbank and the publisher provides the thank you page. In order for your pixel to fire it would have to be placed by the owner of the product you are promoting. (as pretty much said already)

Last time I ran anything on Clickbank I had to email the owner of the offer to get a pixel placed.

^ umm, no you didn't.

OP - Sorry to hear you feel dirty with ClickBank bro, I bank large with them and would gladly debate this point with ANY of the WF members - how can one feel any less dirty pushing pills, forced re-bills, cock products, berries... CB has like 90% horrible sites/vendors, but that 10% is more than worth it - at the end of the day who gives a fuck if you're going through a CPA/CPS or standing on the street with a .com sign... flipping offers is flipping offers...

No CB does not work on placing pixels. You sign up to CB with a nickname (make it like index01 or 49827932 not moneyjoe or superaff). Once you have your nickname, you'll find the product you want to promote, that will also have a nickname. So the link for you would be hxxp://yournickname.vendornickname.hop.clickbank.net < That's it. No pixels, no interaction from vendors. It's a cookie based system, and cookies are 60 days for all CB offers.

Reach out if you need anymore help with CB I'll give you a hand.

I read too fast, apologies.

Yes, if you want to place google/yahoo or other tracking pixels on the vendors thank you page you will indeed need to get them to do it manually UNLESS they have automated the process. I have a few offers that have this feature implemented. Look for publishers that have these features as chances are they will also implement cutting the tail off of your final destination url (usually you end up on ...com/?id=affname < they cut that), and allow for things like bypassing the sales page, pre-cookie'ing your visitor.

Check their affiliate resource page and if they don't have any automation from above implemented just reach out to them. CB vendors are happier than pigs in shit when a bigger affiliate comes on board and will more often than not bend over backwards for you to take part. Something I saw above which you should take note of is false conversions though - if you have tracking on the vendors thank you page, other affiliates sales will be seen in your analytics from time to time (consumer clicks on your PPC ad, comes to your lander, then the vendors page, then leaves for more research, clicks on another aff's ad, this time buys, you will both show conversions).

Have to agree that there are some great ideas/offers on Clickbank (I did some volume with them last year), but I just don't trust their platform. I don't know how many campaigns that were doing 4 figures a day go to nothing overnight with the same traffic sources and volume.

While I would love to promote some of their stuff again, I simply refuse because of their suspected shaving of affiliate's commissions. Either that or their tracking system is shit.

their tracking system IS flawed.

I've got multiple accounts I use for rotation, which is the closest thing to a solution I can do.

Actually - I said I feel dirty going to Digitalpoint, not Clickbank. I'm fine with Clickbank, just not familiar with their platform.

Publisher has to place pixel for any accuracy. I had two products on CB... yeah I don't give a fuck... made nice bank with em.
