Hey Guys, in my last post I asked for your feedback and ideas.
Based on feedback we’ve gained through this forum, other industry forums, as well as direct talks with publishers, we have tweaked our guidelines to reflect some of the changes you wanted while making some parts a little more clear.

Below is the letter that we are currently sending to our publisher base explaining the changes and linking to our updated guidelines. In addition to sending the letter, I wanted to post them here to let you all know that we appreciate your feedback and we definitely are listening.

Thanks,

John

To our valued Clickbooth Publishers,

One of the biggest things that has made Clickbooth a successful company is our publishers. Without our publishers we would not be where we are today, which is why we have started down this path to make sure that you are protected. Your feedback over the years is what has allowed our company to excel and we were excited about all the feedback we received in reference to our Blog and Review Site Guidelines. We have received an enormous amount of positive feedback, and we appreciate that. We also received many questions asking for a more clear understanding of our guidelines.

Since we are taking such a bold stance to delineate the marketers doing things the right way, from those doing things the wrong way, we certainly expected this to be an ongoing dialogue. We are currently working with both our publishers and our advertisers so that all parties involved are protected.

We have listened and based on your feedback, we have adjusted these guidelines so that they are more clear for all parties involved.

A few main points that we’d like to highlight are:
· We have clarified our definition of sites designed solely for advertising purposes versus those with non-promotional content and added user value.
· We have expanded our list of acceptable personally identifiable documentation
· We have clarified the steps involved in our audit process and the result of a negative outcome of the audit.

We would also like to reiterate that, as always, all publishers will be paid for traffic they generate through Clickbooth.

We encourage you to take a few minutes and read through the updated guidelines: Clickbooth Publisher Affiliate Network and CPA Network and once again pass along any feedback or questions you may have.

Please contact your affiliate strategist with any questions or email publishers@clickbooth.com.

I mean, come on, you can't go changing your terms every few weeks now. You should have done some research before you did the first set of them. Now i know i don't speak for everyone, but i'd say damage is already done. By the way, what does your name even mean? ClickBoothPayoutKiller? That doesn't make sense.

What Clickbooth does not or has not ever allowed are Fake blogs, FLOGS or fake review sites as a marketing method

Lying in the first paragraph... no reason to read further

This is expected when all publishers start jumping ship from clickbooth I'm sure Cx and Copeac love it and just got all clickbooths pubs I can see clickbooth revenue dropping over night and I'm sure clickbooth advertiser wondering why they aren't getting anymore acai and colon sign ups

"What Clickbooth does not or has not ever allowed are Fake blogs, FLOGS or fake review sites as a marketing method"

Really? Because a few weeks ago on a Clickbooth call you guys TOLD US to build fake blogs because they convert so well.

"We have received an enormous amount of positive feedback,
and we appreciate that.
"

Give me a break! Everyone knows these rules are BS and 99% of the feedback you guys have received so far has been SHIT. We all know you lost the majority of your publishers... and no other network is going to "follow your lead" like you thought they would.

Why don't you guys just be honest and straight up, instead of being hypocritically douche bags? This is why networks like Convert2Media are getting popular... because guys like Ruck tell THE TRUTH, even if it's not what we want to hear. But at Clickbooth you guys just like to feed us a bunch of bullshit.

Truth like Paul Pierce!

Hey Clickbooth did you forget the webinar YOU did where Harald Anderson outted peoples blogs and told people to make blogs just like them because they convert well? And now Clickbooth has to audacity to make their publishers seem like the bad guys for doing the exact thing you told them? Fucking hypocrites.

No other network is providing feedback?

Feedback: Please revise that statement on your site. I'll venture to say it's a "typo". Either way it is untruthful. I'm providing honest feedback here and my advice to change that statement may or not mean much to Clickbooth overall but it damn sure will in Wickedfire. I've had the heat put on me too but I dont panic and issue untruthful statements. Whatever the reason, I've personally found that it's ALWAYS better to come clean, no matter what you have done or said.

People tend to forgive and respect you when you step forward and admit to wrong doing. In this case, that statement is completely false and since nobody else is providing any hardcore proof to how wrong it truly is, I would advise you to look at my company account (specifically, November 08). One look at the referring data will give a pretty good reason why you should seriously consider revising that statement.

I do not do business with Clickbooth but I have. I found my AM Geoff to be responsive and helpful when we were working with you. The only problem I have had is that specific text which is simply not true.

Revise, Apologize, Move forward. All you can do in situations like these.

{Edit} At the time of this writing I have both accounts intact with Clickbooth. I know how this game works when a network says I am holding something against you because you banned me or some other bullshit. I have nothing against you other than the inconsistency of the above statement.

I just wonder, as a clickbooth employee, how you can, with a straight face, come to a forum full of people so loyal to this place and make posts thinking anyone is going to take you seriously when there is a STICKY AT THE TOP OF THIS SECTION IN WHICH JON IS FORCED TO APPOLOGIZE TO YOU BECAUSE YOU HIRED SUITS TO SUE HIM.

feedback: use your internal mailing system to send out your network news updates, because very few here actually care.
