Well I have been getting a very high CTR on a arb site about Pokemon- which I am shutting down b/c it is paying crap, my recent payout is a one cent click...

well 7search says that the keyword 'pokemon' was clicked 4 times, but my pokemon url channel in adsense reports says it only has 2 impressions?

How do I have 4 clicks on my 7search word, but only 2 page impressions on my site?

This has been happening in that keyword a lot- yesterday I counted a 20 click discrepancy!

Because people bail before the page loads.

That happens a certain percentage of time. If it happens a lot, it is likely very poor traffic.

I have had some traffic sources where I can see by looking at my logs that 90% of the traffic would bail before the page loaded.

how do you measure that? I'd really like to have a better idea of what's happening with my traffic.

analytics has measures the bounce rate. You can also check your logs for the length of the visit.

well way less than a second on my cable modem, but I don't know how to measure it. I figure if the people clicking on 7serach keywords are going to 3rd tier SE, they might not have cable - anyway to check the speed depending on what's being used to upload the page?

I think Dreamweaver has that option.. not sure though, havent used it in a years

Quick and dirty you can look at your logs. If you have multiple elements to load, you can see which ones they got. If they hit your URL but don't fetch any or most of the items on the page, it is likely a bad hit.

if you use firefox, you can download the web developer tool plugin for that:
http://chrispederick.com/work/webdeveloper/

under tools, view speed report.
it'll tell ya download speeds of a webpage for all connections, from 33.6 to t1

I have the opposite problem. My total number of page views in my channel report (I use a custom channel, and use that same channel to track a number of arbi pages), are almost 50% higher than the amount of clicks 7search reports.
The pages have only been up a few days and are not linked to from any other page.

I was thinking of being able to use the Adsense report to quickly determine whether I'm making money or not (total page views * highest 7search bid - adsense earnings), but given that Adsense shows far more page views it's just not accurate enough.
How can this be?
