Creating FB Ads

What program do you guys use to create your facebook ads with? Is photoshop what everyone uses? what is my best option assuming I'm not going to spend any money on this program. Can I get photoshop for free online?

Try GIMP - it's free and it's great. You don't need anything more than what it offers if all you're doing is ads for facebook.

Adobe offers trial demos of its Creative Suite: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Indesign and Illustrator at its web site. They are good for one month.

After that, cruise craigslist for people selling computers with pre-loaded Creative Suite on them.

I use Photoshop CS3 for everything - ads, landing pages, etc. I'd recommend buying it as it's definitely a good investment and it's a lot easier and faster to tweak images to get them exactly how you want. Of course I'd never do this but you can always just download it from a torrent/warez site.

If you're happy to pirate software (or have $1800 to piss away), Adobe CS4 for the win.
If you prefer being legal, then GIMP or GIMPshop (which has a much easier interface than Gimp)
