Ok, so a few months ago I started thinking of ways to make money with cpa and affiliate programs. I took a look on cj.com and found plenty of pay per lead programs. One in particular was for debt consolidation.. yea, yea I know most known affiliate program ever. What was so cool about this one in particular was that is offered a free guide of some sort that would be snail mailed. So... I was thinking, what about hiring some commission based home workers, then setting up 10 or more of these campaigns and the workers would telemarket saying that they are doing surveys for debt consolidation and if they answer a few questions, they would get a free guide sent to them. No purchase necessary, and then have the telemarketers ask the basic questions needed for the lead to be good.
Leads are priced well, and you could offer the telemarketer a few bucks per confirmed lead.

So dead simple... and I bet a lot are already doing this, but I wanted to get some feedback on the idea.

Like I said if you are already doing this, good for you, tell us how much you are making, if not and this post sparked some ideas then share.

Would this even work, and is it considered whitehat by the networks?

For any "real life" marketing operations, you usually need network/advertiser agreement first. You need to have open communication with your network.

Entering leads in? Probably not. You need to find "host + post" offers for this, and they pay less. I think I got your question, considering I'm on my sleeping medication and (also) can't sleep.

I second that - manually entering leads usually needs advertiser or network approval. And unless you really know what you are doing and are going to be driving volume,unlikely to obtain at first.

Go back to sleep, it's a good idea but hard to execute. Because once you begin dialing that phone you have all sorts of telemarketing laws by state to worry about as well as DoNotCall lists, etc. You would need to tap into a giant database to figure out who you can and can't call.

I don't know too much about it, but it sounds like more of a headache than it's worth.
