I'm back.

To everyone that read my journals and asked me questions, much love and good vibes!

DISCLAIMER: I'm not balling or anything, just slightly less broke. I still haven't made it yet but I eat better now. This journal is for everyone out there grinding it out on the dollar menu. If I can do it, you can do it.

I'll be learning PPC in this last chapter so if you are interested in PPC hit that subscribe button.

So what's changed since last time ?

1. I got a job

This one was really big for me. As much as people hate on 9-5'ers having a roof over your head and food on your table really does make a difference. I think the biggest thing it did for me was increase mental acuity. It's hard to make decisions when your mind is clouded. When you no longer have to worry about where your next meal is coming from, your decisions will become more profitable.

2. Mindset

It's not about answers but about asking the right question.

This was THE game changer for me.

The answers will never be the same for everyone but if you ask the right questions you'll find that the results will be more profitable.

Here are some of the questions that led me to where I am (slightly less broke).

a. Why am I not where I want to be?
You must be brutal with this. Lying to yourself will not help.
ex. Why ? Because I spent my free time watching tv.

b. How do I help people get what they want? How much will they pay for it ?

What people want is different from what you think they want.

ex. If you lift, people will constantly ask you what you eat. Watch what happens if you tell them that you cook your own food and measure macros. You think they want the hard truth (diet advice) but what they really want is an easy solution like a prepackaged meal or people telling them what to eat.

Wait.

Hold on. But where is the section on dedication or focus?

You don't need one. You just need to make a decision.

Once you've made a decision, everything you do stems from that moment.

ex. You want to quit your job and you decide to achieve that by starting a company. From that day on, every action you make should stem from that moment.

Translation: You simply ask yourself "Is this going to help me quit my job?". If yes, do it. If the answer is no then don't do it.

*I'm moving so the ppc posts will have to wait until the dust settles. IMO, learning mindset is way more important for people starting out anyway.

TL;DR

Timeline:
Broke -> learned some SEO -> work in industry/side gigs - > learn some PPC

Things I learned:

1. Set yourself up for success
2. Be honest with yourself
3. Do productive shit.

Goal:

So what do I expect from this little experiment ?

Nothing. I fully expect it to fail. I suppose I could learn ppc some other way (other peoples money) but nothing teaches you to keep your hands up faster than getting punched in the face repeatedly.
