Direct linking on the content network?

Is it allowed? I submitted an image ad and it's been two days without the ad being approved. I'm thinking either it's the image (which is a really flashy gif that blinks) or the fact that I had it direct link...

Perhaps, even a combination of both.

Anywho... Is direct linking allowed on the Google Content Network?

my ads were approved and i was direct linking on the content network. write new ads. a lot of the time ads that weren't being approved for whatever reason got approved as soon as i tweaked a few things.

How long did it take to approve you ad (was it an image ad like mine?)

Also, do you know whether or not they approve on the weekend or Sundays?

if it's not approved in under 3 days, just delete the adgroup / campaign if it's small and recreate it.

it's weird, it took like 1 month for my first campaign on content. but when i started using the above method it usually got shit trhoguh pretty fast.
